This is too many months late, but I finally got around to making this quick video of my trip to France in August of 2025. What a trip! The primary purpose was to visit the Normandy beaches, where the Allied armies landed in June of 1944. With veterans of World War II nearly completely gone, it seemed like the right time to go.
The first leg of the trip was to Paris, then southwards to Lourdes for a quick pilgrimage, and then back northwards to Bayeux, Normandy, for most of that following week.
